The Ups And Downs Of Guest Blogging—Know How It Helps You Target Traffic
Writing is indeed a craft. Once you have all the creative juices in you, they just keep coming. This is practical and at the same time very beneficial especially when you run an online website as your business. Firstly, you can come up with valuable and informative contents for your site. Second, you can do guest blogging for more targeted traffic. Indeed, writing on topics you are well abreast of will be very easy provided you have the talent and skills.
Content is the King
When you visit a website, you don't merely stare at the graphics or animations therein. You browse through the contents. They are those that express thoughts as well as ideas. The content is the king because it is that which communicates with the readers. It is that which promotes traffic to the website. If there is no valuable content, then, there is nothing to read. In short, the website is never interesting.
The Perks of Guest Blogging
Aside from providing worth to read contents in your own website, you can also target more traffic by means of guest blogging. That is, by writing some less informative and shorter contents on other individuals' blogs along with the other forms of social media that they make use of. As you do this, your posts are exposed for the followers to see. Then, you get the links from the other websites without having to spend anything. Thus, the search engines can easily give you the rankings with more traffic driven to your site.
Some Apprehensions Discussed
Alright, so this may sound truly great and exciting. But, are there no more problems or things to worry about?
Because you do guest blogging which means posting your contents in all forms of social media and for everybody to get to see and read, you have to ensure that you are in your best shape when writing. Why? It is because you should only prepare and then submit the most excellent of your compositions!
This is your way of advertising and offering those website hosts who don't have time to write to get your services as well. Thus, you must tempt them and show them what you have. Moreover, your topics should be interesting and have variations.
There may be harsh comments heaped on your topics as well so better be ready for that. There can be other bloggers doing the dirty deed on you by altering your posts a bit, removing your links, and then posting them in other sources. That means your website is getting less traffic.
Some would say that guest blogging is the perfect idea especially in terms of link building. However, some would refute this idea. Just so to make it clear, you have to be prepared for the downsides but you can always do your best to reap the benefits of this action.
Your main goal here is to target traffic. Meaning, you will use your ability to write contents and post them in all forms of social media to earn backlinks. In everything, there is always an advantage and a disadvantage. You just have to maximize the full potential of your opportunities.

Target Traffic Through Guest Blogging
Blogs are indeed a fun way of conveying very useful pieces of information to others who seek them. Likewise, if your business is based online, then, writing blogs can be a very useful tool in communicating with your existing customers along with the potential ones. More so, it can be a good means of achieving targeted traffic.
When you have all the talents and skills in writing, it will be very easy for you to compose a material that is worth posting. You see, being in the online business means providing quality content for all readers to enjoy and at the same time pick important information.
In this time and age, blogging has become a household name. Clearly, everybody knows what it is about. Even the younger generation has gotten the hang of it. How much more someone like you who need targeted traffic for your own business?
The Art of Guest Blogging
If you are into writing, then, it is guaranteed that you can come up with the guest blog post. This one is a bit lesser informative and normally shorter. However, it doesn't mean the quality is compromised but it provides teasers on some topics so the readers will be intrigued. As a result, they will always look forward to your future posts.
This gives you freedom as you can blog using topics that you are a bit familiar with. Once you have created an impression on others that you have a knack for guest blogging, then, they will be offering you proposals to do the same thing for them. Hence, getting more traffic for your website.
Choose where You will Blog
Of course, for you to be able to get targeted traffic, you must screen the quality of all your backlinks. That therefore means choosing the venues for your guest blogging essentials. For a start, you may do that for your friends along with your business contacts. Those who don't have much time to spare will typically seek your services.
Also, choose the topics you will blog about. It is always wise to write about something you are familiar with. This will give you more avenues of writing more.
The concept of blogging itself is not new anymore especially to those who are in the online marketing field. But then again, some people don't just maximize its potentials of success. It is a tactic actually. You just have to get to know its benefits for you to be able to appreciate it and do it more often.
Here is a simple explanation. If you are the guest blogger, you give what you have written to another website owner for posting. They then credit it to you. In return, those who have been interested in what you wrote will contact you and visit your page. That is traffic.
You see, here is another way of effectively communicating your thoughts to people. This is a surefire way of letting people your business exists. And furthermore, it is a means of targeting traffic to your website.

10 Quick Tips to Get Repeat Web Traffic
1. Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.
2. Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.
3. You can allow customers to ‘opt in’ to get discounts and special offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to ‘opt in’ to get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.
4. Add a link to your primary page with a script ‘Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites’.
5. Add a link ‘Recommend this site to a Friend’ so that the visitor can email your website link, with a prewritten title, “Thought you might be interested in this”, just by clicking on it.
6. Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on your site. Use consistent colours, logos and slogans and always provide a ‘Contact Us’ link on each page.
7. Create a ‘Our Policies’ page that clearly defines your philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your site.
8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are likely to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.
9. Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark.
10. Never spam a client, who has opted for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they want to ‘opt out’ of the mailings, be sure you honor their request and take them off the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your products. But they will certainly not come back if you continue to flood their email box with mails they no longer wish to receive.

Do's And Don'ts In Choosing A Web Hosting Company For Your Online Business
The Internet continues to lure many aspiring entrepreneurs to fulfill their dream of finally having a business of their own. Gone are the days when you need to have a large capital just for you to jumpstart a business. Now, a computer and a reliable internet connection are all you need to begin transacting with your customers.
First things first, the heart and soul of an online business is your website. You have to have a convenient and user-friendly website so that leads would be convinced to buy your products, and loyal customers would go on and make repeat purchases. Your website could make, or break your online business.
For this reason, it is very important to find a reliable webhosting company that could accommodate all your online business's hosting needs. Here are the do's and the don'ts when choosing a web hosting service:
Web Hosting Company Search Do's:
1. Consider and decide on your requirements for web hosting
The two most important factors that you need to consider are bandwidth and storage capacity. You should know first-hand if several transactions are to be held simultaneously on the website once it goes live, or if you'll be storing a lot of files and data on the site's repository.
If this is the case, then you must go for a web hosting service that can give you a plan that covers a large bandwidth and a large storage. If not, then it is just a waste of money to get a large-scale hosting plan. If you're not sure yet what to put on your site, get the least expensive plan first, evaluate the service for a month, and make some changes afterwards.
2. Do a research on the webhosting company
There are a lot of web hosting companies that you can search for online, but make sure that you do a thorough research on some of them before reaching a decision. Make a comparative study on some of these hosting companies and choose the one which could provide you with the features and services that you need for your website.
3. Check for customer service and support
When you're starting out with your online business, there will really be times when you'll need a lot of help. It is therefore necessary for you to choose a webhosting service that exemplifies good customer service and support. Contact the potential company and ask them about their services. Their promptness on their answers can already give you an idea if you can count on their technical support and expertise in days to come.
Web Hosting Company Search Don'ts:
1. Do not choose free web hosting
Don't be deceived by free web hosting companies because everything that is free certainly has several drawbacks. Free web hosting gets their revenue by placing advertisements on sites. Your credibility as a site owner will be put on the line if customers see these unnecessary ads being displayed on the screen. If you're really serious about your online business, choose a professional web hosting provider that would give you a reliable domain host.
2. Don't accept special offers that you are not familiar of
Some web hosting companies offer some software programs like PHP and MySQL to be incorporated in your site. If your online business would not really make use of these, then it's better to just decline these offers.

10 Reasons to Start Earning an Extra Income in 2010
Home based businesses to earn extra income have become widely accepted all over the world are spreading like forest fire. They have become most desirable businesses to start for apparent reasons:
Imagine how it would feel to get up at your own sweet time and not hurry to office in the regular chaos of snarling traffic all the while getting choked on pollution. And then, to begin the day as though you are fresh form home and nothing has happened. Listen to the Boss ordering you around and giving you the grind for deadlines.
Extra Income has not hurt anyone up to now, and it should not be hurting you either. If you are willing to do that extra bit of work or travel that extra mile for your boss, I am sure you will be more than willing to do so for yourself, especially if you feel that it would improve the quality of life of you and your family.
Extra Income does not come for free. It involves hard work but of the kind you would want to do. It is not hard work when you are doing what you always wanted. A little bit of inspiration could get you off the mark, wouldn’t it? Let’s get going point wise;
1. You will be your own boss with no one looking over your shoulder. Freedom of time, moment, goals, finances everything left to you.
2. Work at your convenience. Be your own time master. Flexibility benefits are more for parents and people having other responsibilities apart from profession.
3. Flexibility to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it.
4. The above factors help you to pursue your regular income job until you are sure of the extra income business. You can always switch.
5. Job security and fear of unemployment vanish.
6. Sense of pride. Make you more of a complete person who can proudly say that you are an entrepreneur who has achieved something.
7. Self confidence going through the sky. This factor will help you face most hurdles in life with a lot lesser heartaches and stress.
8. Limitations of earning do not exist. You can earn as much as you want by just stepping up the speed.
9. Many countries offer tax benefits for home based businesses, since it is considered extra income. So greater credit ratings with lesser tax obligations.
10. You can retire at your own time, at 30 or at 60, it’s entirely up to you.
Success becomes a commodity which you can measure with your own yardstick rather than others, which contributes a lot to your personality and the finances through the extra income you earn. The above reasons are certainly worth a glance if you are considering being successful and independent in life.
Analyze the above points on a piece of paper before making your decision on whether you want that extra income or not.

Extra Income --- Very Welcome
Gone are the days of mid 60's and 70’s when a family could survive upon a single income. Today the inflation and economic factors are such that survival on two incomes has become hand to mouth. Going by this trend we can very well imagine what the future holds for us. Two incomes certainly will not be enough. It’s best to prepare for the worst and expect the best instead of vice versa. Its best then to have multiple incomes flows into your finances than to have an insecure future. The concept and importance of extra income becomes all the more apparent.
People who have been well-to-do have always known and taken care of this. If one income dries up, one can always fall back upon the other streams of income, and if all go well you can only get richer, no harm in that. Ordinary and average living people have always been in a dilemma regarding this. Loss of one income really affects them adversely and it would take years of hard work before any normalcy returns. Not to mention, the rippling effects of financial distress that could cause a lot of heartache and unwanted emotional disturbances.
Having diverse sources of income or extra income gives you a backup to fall back upon. If one source vanishes, you should not feel the difference. One should have enough time to reorganise and regroup, that’s it, and you are back on the happiness highway, safe and sound. The importance of extra income and extra sources of incomes is not lost on anyone today, therefore the demand for it has grown too as demonstrated by the growth of Network Marketing / MLM.
Extra Income can be of two kinds – Linear and Residual
Linear income is the extra income you earn on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. There is no more future commitment attached to it from your end or form the receiver’s end.
Residual income is an extra income where you work hard once and reap the fruits of it all for many years in the future. The reward for the same effort paid over and over again.
In normal course of a career, any individual earns a linear income through a job or a profession. You are earning only for the time you can spare on work on a daily basis. Some earn a higher linear income. Most smart people try to shift to residual incomes from their linear incomes through extra income routes to have a secure retirement and future. Starting a residual extra income effort sooner rather than later would be a good idea.
The creation of the Internet has given a lot of options in the extra income route. However, one has to be careful in selecting the right one from them by recognising the hyped up ones from the more straight talking ones.
Almost all Network Marketing programmes have residual income components in them. When you select the one for you, it is worth putting in the time and effort to make it work. Some are of course easier than others, the most simple one I have found is of course FM Group which sells products people actually want, at prices they can afford.

How to go about earning an Extra Income
Extra Income means an income that you can earn apart from the regular income coming in from employment or normal work. This earning can be used to payoff your outstanding debts or build up a capital account or spend it on luxuries that you could only think about before. Everyone seems to want a second income but no one wants to work a second job, so the extra income is normally seen as a windfall.
When we compare income levels in different countries, it is evident that the average income per person is less than £10,000 a year. Where many people are near the breadline extra income really does make people happier and improves their lifestyle.
But countries which have average income above the normal subsistence level of approximately £10,000 a year, happiness seems to be income independent. For example, an average American ranks richer than an average Indian or an Austrian, but also less happy.
Why does this happen? People always look at their income relatively with some norm or the other and the norm keeps rising all the time. And this norm is what increases the spending, more or less in direct proportion to the income. Two things drive up the norm with which people compare their incomes. One is the income that they themselves have experienced, which habituates them to higher standards of living. And the other is the income that their colleagues or neighbours get, and which they try to outdo.
The extra income options available today are targeted to generate employment and are targeted specifically at people who can use their skills that are lying dormant to make some more money for themselves. To achieve a moderate success in generating an extra income one should be aware of their strengths and weaknesses. This would greatly help in selection of a most suitable way to generate extra income.
The selection process consists of logical steps. Firstly one should ask themselves of an honest opinion of their strengths, what they excel at? What do people around them keep complimenting or criticizing them on?, are they perfectionists?, For example, if you are a computer literate you could help your neighbourhood in upgrades, repairs or installation of software.
The extra income can also be augmented by doing extra seasonal chores like raking leaves in the fall or clearing snow in winters. These are just a few ideas, but making an extra income augmented with self analysis will take away the need for a second job.
Today the internet and the general market have a lot of ideas for generating extra income. Network marketing in general market terms has been successful to some extent. Internet offers something similar that says affiliate marketing. The internet also offers a host of other options like writing, advertising and simple technical non-technical jobs which can highly augment your regular income. The extra income that can be earned form these opportunities depends on how good your skills in the field of your selection. Network Marketing on the other hand is much less skill dependent as this type of business can be started with no previous experience and usually very little outlay.

Website as Storefronts - Ecommerce Web Design
A customer walks into the store, browses through products and shelves, picks up items, inspects, considers the prices, chooses a product and takes it to the cash register to pay. Now if you want to sell your products online, then your site and web design must be enabled for e-commerce, where you must have the following features:
- You need to provide plenty of content and product description like sizes, dimensions, colours and comparisons with other similar products. It must allow the customer to choose a product, get a clear pricing and shipping costs on the product, complete the transaction and get an order number, and/or invoice confirmation via email. Allow your customer to choose a shipping method.
- You must tell the customer if the item is in stock or delivered against order. Ideally, you should have an email contact or live help if the customer has a question. Most importantly you must respond immediately! If you want to provide your own live chat and help desk services on your website, specialized softwares are available for purchase.
- Be sure your customer service links are large and clearly marked, so your client does not have to dig around to find information.
- Provide an ‘about us’ section or a section about your policies. If you have privacy statements and customer satisfaction policies, your customer will feel better about shopping in your store.
- You probably want to have customer quotes and references on the storefront page, as well, to let your prospective client know that others are happy with your service.
- Provide an FAQ with information about your return-back policies, guarantees, shipping prices and insurance charges if any.
- If you are so inclined, you can offer a print catalogue if the customer prefers to order one from your ecommerce storefront and shop in the privacy of their homes.
- Do not annoy your customers by presenting products that are marked ‘sold’ or pages that say ‘under construction’ or ‘coming soon’.
- Do add new content frequently to the content of your website design, so your returning customers will not be bored by seeing the same products they saw four months ago.
- If your ecommerce site has got a date tag or has current references, be careful to change these references frequently so you don’t give the perception that nobody is attending or reading your site.

Is Your Keyword Density Right?
Keyword density is an indicator of the number of times the selected keyword appears in the web page. But mind you, keywords shouldn’t be over used, but should be just sufficient enough to appear at important places.
If you repeat your keywords with every other word on every line, then your site will probably be rejected as an artificial site or spam site.
Keyword density is always expressed as a percentage of the total word content on a given web page.
Suppose you have 100 words on your webpage (not including HMTL code used for writing the web page), and you use a certain keyword for five times in the content. The keyword density on that page is got by simply dividing the total number of keywords, by the total number of words that appear on your web page. So here it is 5 divided by 100 = .05. Because keyword density is a percentage of the total word count on the page, multiply the above by 100, that is 0.05 x 100 = 5%
The accepted standard for a keyword density is between 3% and 5%, to get recognized by the search engines and you should never exceed it.
Remember, that this rule applies to every page on your site. It also applies to not just to one keyword but also a set of keywords that relates to a different product or service. The keyword density should always be between 3% and 5%.
Simple steps to check the density:
- Copy and paste the content from an individual web page into a word-processing software program like Word or Word Perfect.
- Go to the ‘Edit’ menu and click ‘Select All’. Now go to the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Word Count’. Write down the total number of words in the page.
- Now select the ‘Find’ function on the ‘Edit’ menu. Go to the ‘Replace’ tab and type in the keyword you want to find. ‘Replace’ that word with the same word, so you don’t change the text.
- When you complete the replace function, the system will provide a count of the words you replaced. That gives the number of times you have used the keyword in that page.
- Using the total word count for the page and the total number of keywords you can now calculate the keyword density.

Must Have Features on Your Web Site
Just don’t focus on the home page, keywords and titles.
The first step to sales when customers visit your site to see the products they were looking for. Of course, search engine optimisation and better rankings can’t keep your customer on your site or make them buy. The customer having visited your site, now ensure that he gets interested in your products or services and stays around. Motivate him or her to buy the product by providing clear and unambiguous information. Thus if you happen to sell more than one product or service, provide all necessary information about this, may be by keeping the information at a different page. By providing suitable and easily visible links, the customer can navigate to these pages and get the details.
Understanding Your Target Customer
If you design a website you think will attract clients, but you don’t really know who your customers are and what they want to buy, it is unlikely you make much money. Website business is an extension or replacement for a standard storefront. You can send email to your existing clients and ask them to complete a survey or even while they are browsing on your website. Ask them about their choices. Why do they like your products? Do you discount prices or offer coupons? Are your prices consistently lower than others? Is your shipping price cheaper? Do you respond faster to client questions? Are your product descriptions better? Your return policies and guarantees better than your competitor’s? To know your customer you can check credit card records or ask your customer to complete a simple contact form with name, address, age, gender, etc. when they purchase a product.
Does your website give enough contact information?
When you sell from a website, your customer can buy your products 24 hrs a day and also your customers may be from other states that are thousands of miles away. Always provide contact information, preferably on every page of your website, complete with mailing address, telephone number and an email address that reaches you. People may need to contact you about sales, general information or technical problems on your site. Also have your email forwarded to another email address if you do not check your website mailbox often. When customer wants to buy online provide enough options like credit card, PayPal or other online payment service.

Why Web Hosting Is Essential For A Small Business
The trend of today is for businesses to have their online portals. No matter how big or small a business is, it matters that it is on the Internet so that people can take them seriously. True enough; several shoppers are so hooked into online shopping. They believe it to be less tiring and of course more convenient to buy whatever they need. Hence, web hosting is what online businesses need.
Web Hosting Defined
For a clearer understanding of what it is about, a brief description is provided herein.
Web hosting engages a third party to work in your business. That is why, you should be wise in choosing the company to work for you. An unethical company can cause you piles of problems in the future so better be careful with your decisions.
The Advantages and Disadvantages
One scenario in web hosting is that of having a shared domain. That means your provider will be partitioning a part of the server for your use. This is of course less expensive for a small business owner like you. However, you don't exactly know who is sharing the same space with you and chances are scams are already being run. This may affect you as well.
Apart from which, web hosting can let you save up a lot on the cost of the equipment, hardware, and their respective maintenance. The hosting company will be the one to handle the repair and replacement needs. The disadvantage is of course; your host may be slow in updating that your site eventually goes offline.
Another advantage that this poses is that you get to save on the staff cost. A small business will no longer worry about hiring an IT expert which by all means is never cheap. But then again, when it has been provided by the hosting company, you don't have the control over those that are being hired and how fast they can respond to your needs.
So, better explore all your options before choosing a web hosting company that will serve your needs.
Some Tips when Choosing Your Provider
A technical problem happens anytime especially when you least expect it. A good provider will always be ready to send help and address the technical failures as soon as possible.
Go for the provider that has proven itself to be credible not by words but by actions. Some of them will promise you a lot of things but always end up failing.
A provider must be flexible. Meaning, as your business starts to grow, it should be able to give you more bandwidth, a bigger web space, and advanced technology, to name a few.
A good business relationship is important. You should not be able to talk about technical concerns only but other issues can be easily solved as well.
Again, prior to choosing your service provider, be sure that you understand the hosting package that is offered to you. It is only through these that you can make web hosting for a small business really work for you.

Building Free Targeted Web Site Traffic
The value of targeted web site traffic can never be equal to that of a merely free traffic. Visitors that are easily directed to certain web sites, even for free, if totally clueless as to what the website is all about, are likely going to exit your web pages just as fast as how they have landed on them. You may even find yourself falling from the search engine ranks if this continues to happen, not to mention being banned and the like.
But yes, the web is such an avenue for great opportunities that even free targeted traffic can possibly be obtained. But that does not come without efforts from your end. Here are some tips to building free targeted traffic.
Blogs. If you have a passion for writing and do not mind sharing your ideas on the web, this should not be very hard for you. Blogs are among the most effective ways to get "really" targeted traffic.
The freedom to express your message via compelling articles gives you the chance to capture readers' attention through your writing skill coupled with some interesting images that are sure to spice up interests. When writing blogs, you have the option to directly pitch your website to your readers (seldom done) or do it in subtle, less obvious ways.
You may post ads on your blog, insert links on some key phrases – all of which will lead targeted traffic to your site when clicked. There are numerous blog sites on the web that you can tap all for free.
Forum Participations. This is also another way of getting targeted traffic at no cost. Simply visit forums that discuss topics related to the nature of your website. Participate either by posting your own questions or by answering existing forum inquiries. There may be instances when you can directly refer your website as part of your answers, or you may need to employ tactics to insert it as part of your main answers.
Usually, and this is the safest way to showcase your site for the possibility of getting free targeted traffic, include your web site's domain name on your signature block. Don't be satisfied by just putting your name at the end of your answer. Insert your domain names and URLs so that the readers (who are interested with the forum topic, which is related to the nature of your website) have the option of clicking them and hence becoming a part of your free targeted traffic.
Link Exchange. You are also free to browse the web for link exchange and invite web sites with similar or related industries as yours. Make sure to provide clear link details (an interesting title, clear description, and accurate URL) to draw targeted traffic from websites which visitors may also be highly interested on your web site content. Anyone who visits a web site and cares to navigate through its pages, so that he reaches its resources or links page and clicks on your displayed link – is a very promising portion of your targeted web site traffic.

How Do Search Engines Work - Web Crawlers
There are basically two types of search engines. The first is by robots called crawlers or spiders.
Search Engines use spiders to index websites. When you submit your website pages to a search engine by completing their required submission page, the search engine spider will index your entire site. A ‘spider’ is an automated program that is run by the search engine system. Spider visits a web site, read the content on the actual site, the site's Meta tags and also follow the links that the site connects. The spider then returns all that information back to a central depository, where the data is indexed. It will visit each link you have on your website and index those sites as well. Some spiders will only index a certain number of pages on your site, so don’t create a site with 500 pages!
The spider will periodically return to the sites to check for any information that has changed. The frequency with which this happens is determined by the moderators of the search engine.
A spider is almost like a book where it contains the table of contents, the actual content and the links and references for all the websites it finds during its search, and it may index up to a million pages a day.
When you ask a search engine to locate information, it is actually searching through the index which it has created and not actually searching the Web. Different search engines produce different rankings because not every search engine uses the same algorithm to search through the indices.
One of the things that a search engine algorithm scans for is the frequency and location of keywords on a web page, but it can also detect artificial keyword stuffing or spamdexing. Then the algorithms analyze the way that pages link to other pages in the Web. By checking how pages link to each other, an engine can both determine what a page is about, if the keywords of the linked pages are similar to the keywords on the original page.

The Second Network Debate
And, for many people, if they are honest, not all networks they join are the right one for them (or in some cases probably not a good one for anyone!), we have all made mistakes in the past with products that sounded good to us but customers simply couldn’t afford, or didn’t want, or companies where it was extremely difficult to find anyone else who wanted to join the business. And in those circumstances, testing the water (and that isn’t an endorsement for the famous water filter MLM!) with less expensive products or simpler businesses is often a sensible option, especially if they have products that you would use yourself anyway.
Finding the Perfect Add-On
If you are building a direct sales business, you are always get enquiries from people who end up saying no to your particular opportunity for whatever reason, may be the cost of joining is too high, they don't like the products, want to build internationally and can't with your business, or simply it is not the right one for them.
Any good networker will of course go back to previous contacts on a regular basis as whilst the business may not have been the one for them at the time of first enquiry it may be now. However, that said there are always going to be people who just are not suited to that individual company, I know myself of many businesses I've been approached with over the years that work absolutely fine but were not something that I personally wanted to do.
But finding something that will suit those who say no to your primary direct sales business can be hard, as you do not want something where there is a high personal volume requirement to earn money on your team sales, has complicated products to train people on or that you can not offer to those from all countries, as these days with internet advertising we often get enquiries from all around the globe.
Why Many Experienced Networkers Choose FM Group
The one company I know of that fits this role very well indeed is FM Group, it is simple to do, has a low monthly personal volume requirement to earn bonuses and is a global business. Add to that the fabulous replica sites that a number of us use and it is not difficult to see why many experienced networkers have added FM on as their second network business and are reaping the rewards from their decision to join FM Group.
I myself was actually involved in an aromatherapy network when I joined FM, but in a short space of time was earning far more from FM than my other business and FM Group is now very much now my main network company and I have to say the easiest and friendliest one I have ever worked with.

Humans v Robots – The Web Design Juggling Act
I’ve seen some amazing websites with stunning designs, but a quick look at the source code behind it and it is a total mess, with excessive coding that a search engine would hate. Keeping your html or php code as clean and clear as possible is important for getting a high search engine ranking, and try to avoid too much JavaScript as some browsers as well as search engine robots can struggle with it.
People look at a website much the same way they look at an advert or a poster, top left to bottom right, so this line of sight matters on your web page, which is why top and left navigation is the best to use, especially as right panel navigation can disappear from view altogether on a smaller screen. However, the right panel is more search engine friendly because it comes after your page content and therefore means your keywords appear higher up in your website code. There are too ways around this conflict, first is to put keywords in your navigation button names, the more complex is to set up your coding in such a way as for the main content to come immediately after the header and titles, and before any navigation. Speak to your website builder or web design company on the best way to do this.
Turning off the images on your browser for a moment is a clever way of getting a snapshot of how some search engines will read your page, if there are bits on there that make no sense then you might want to make some changes.
Ultimately, however much you try to bridge the compromise between human and robot, your web design is likely to always favour one more that the other. If you have a new site, a new brand or reply a lot on new customers for your business then your choice is simple, you have to make your site as search engine friendly as possible. For a more established business, one that will mostly be visitors by returning customers who know where to find your site then how it looks to people will be the main priority.

How to Write a Network Marketing Team Newsletter
There is a lot you can do before you write your newsletter to make it easier for yourself when it comes to the time to actually compose it. Make sure you keep any snippets of news that you want to talk about, but don’t write that piece about it yet as it is better to write your entire newsletter at the same time as it flows more naturally that way. Look at the MLM company website for news that you may also wish to include in your news, rewritten in your own way. It is important that you also set time aside to write the newsletter, as you don’t really want to be interrupted if your thoughts are flowing well.
There are four basic parts that make a good Network Marketing newsletter, the first is the start which is your hello and summary of what has happened in the last period. The news section which should contain congratulations of success, special incentives or product launches / sales that the company is doing and any new information or developments. After this comes the middle where you can have updated regular info, for example details of meetings, team support site details, confirmation of who in your team the newsletter is sent to (i.e. your whole team, just the central team or perhaps only those you personally introduced to the Network Marketing company) and useful tips. The final section is where you can talk about things that are relevant to the current or upcoming season and a call to action, which should be varied to target the different types of people in your network, one month this might be a retailing message, another it could be about what a great time it is to sponsor more people into the network.
When it comes time to write the newsletter I’ve found it is best to do the news section and middle parts first, that way when you then write the start and the final sections you can relate it to the news you are mentioning elsewhere in the newsletter with the start giving a highlighted taster of exciting news they will read in a moment and the end rounding it off, highlighting the incentives, successes with an appropriate call to action.
In the early days of building your Network Marketing business there may not be so much news to include so ask others in the team for input to write testimonials of their sales or recruitment achievements or on topics they may be specialist in.
Write the newsletter as if you were talking to someone in your team, this way the newsletter will flow better. Once you have done the draft, read it, make corrections, put it aside and come back to it a bit later (next day if you have time) and read it again, at this point you are likely to spot other things you need to correct or improve. If you can get someone else, a friend who will be honest with you, to read the final draft too as they may tell you something that could be said in a clearer or more exciting way.
The more people you can reach by email within your team the better, it saves money on sending out newsletters by post. As well as emailing / posting it to all or part of your downline, send it to your upline too and a few non-networking friends, both for their feedback and of course to encourage them to join you in the business. As your team grows you may wish to consider an emailing program. Legally you must also include the ability for people receiving your newsletter to unsubscribe.
My golden rules for Network Marketing team newsletters are keep the layout simple, especially when sending by email as fancy pictures etc may mean it gets blocked. Stick to regular times, e.g. start of month, to send it. Never be negative or highlight failure. And finally remember your readers, for example if they are experienced network marketing leaders you would give them the news about enhancements to the marketing plan in a more detailed way than you would those who have just entered the industry.

Internet Marketing - Network Marketing: Things to Think About When Selecting A Domain Name...
Things to Think About When Selecting A Domain Name
It is also important that the name is memorable and one that people are not going to make mistakes on, a good test of this before you go ahead is to verbally tell a few people the name and ask them to write it down, if any of them make an error with the spelling you might want to consider an easier name. Do the opposite too, write the name down by hand and ask people to read it, if they mistake a “5” for an “S” for example because it is not obvious from the domain name which it should be then think again.
Try and keep the name you choose short, longer names are harder to remember, and again easier to make mistakes with or type incorrectly. If you really want a particular domain name, but you know that people will sometimes get it wrong then you might want to buy the domain names for likely mistakes as well and then forward those to your website.
Target the domain to the part of the world you wish to promote the site to, for example if you are only doing business mainly in the UK then a .co.uk is good, internationally you may prefer a .com. I don’t personally think much of .info or .net names as firstly it doesn’t make it look like you have the main domain and secondly people are very likely to forget the extension and mistakenly put .com or their country extension.
Once you have got your domain name you can actually use Google Webmaster to check which country Google (and therefore probably many of the other search engines too) believe your domain is relevant to. If they have got it wrong, there is the chance on there to tell them the country you want it to be.
Where you buy your domain names from as well can be a challenge, as it is a very competitive market. However, as well as looking for low cost, it is important to check with the domain hosting company that they include the ability to forward your domain (you may not need it now, but you might in the future and you don’t want to have to change host and the downtime that may mean just to set up a domain forwarding), give you the option to add email addresses and sub-domains as part of the package. I’ve always preferred to get domains from the company who will actually be hosting it, keeps everything simple and often the web hosting company will give a discount on the name or the hosting when you buy them as a package, or might even give the domain name for free.
